Hello everyone!
Yes, I realize that I am a little slow to get my blog in, but let me start by saying "Hi!" I am super excited to meet all of you.
I am originally from Nebraska but have spent the past 3 months living and working at the Kodiak Baptist Mission in Kodiak, Alaska. I work as a camp councilor and hang out with children everyday, and share the word of God with them. It is probably the best job in the whole world. Today was the start of the last week of camp. Even though I have loved every minute of it, it will be nice to have some free time again.
I find it very odd that I had to read other people's bios to figure out what to put in my bio. I am thoroughly enjoying my time in Alaska, everyone should come up at least once in their lives. Here I like to hike, Kayak, and fish. Back home I worked as a CNA in a nursing home. It was probably the second best job in the world. I love old people!  I can frequently be found: dancing, laughing, and talking, sometimes all at the same time. I find journaling the best way to deal with anything.
Oh! I should probably mention a few basics: I am a girl, I am 19, I have one sister, my favorite color is green.

Well I look forward to seeing all your faces in Georgia in a few weeks!
